In the deranged world of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), protecting America’s southern border from foreign invaders somehow now amounts to the “torture” of undocumented brown children by evil, white Border Patrol agents.
The freshman congresswoman, a Democrat, recently went on yet another tirade about this alleged “torture project,” which she believes immigration officials are secretly plotting as they pretend to simply be enforcing our nation’s immigration laws.
During a recent interview with political correspondent Nicholas Ballasy, AOC specifically described President Trump’s border wall as a “little torture project,” alleging that the president and his cabinet are using this humanitarian crisis as a “bargaining chip” to push an agenda that involves harming children.
“I would like to see a clean humanitarian bill, where we fund [Health and Human Services] and [the Office of Refugee Resettlement] with no poison pills,” AOC told Ballasy, when asked what she wants to see happen in response to the border crisis.
“Right now, what the administration is doing is that they are using the for-profit suffering of children as a bargaining chip so that they can continue to slip in more negative provisions that will ultimately cause more pain,” AOC continued.
When further asked about the Republican effort to include a border wall as part of any package that deals with the crisis itself, AOC went on to say that she’s fine with this. It’s the “children in cages” and other humanitarian aspects of the crisis that AOC believes are being exploited by the Trump administration to pursue some kind of “torture” agenda.

At the same time that AOC is running her mouth about nonsense she clearly doesn’t understand, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) is currently investigating Shaikat Chakrabarti, AOC’s former chief of staff, for violating campaign finance laws.
The case was opened after complaints started to pour in against Justice Democrats and Brand New Congress, two campaign committees headed up by Chakrabarti that are said to have been engaged in “an elaborate scheme to avoid proper disclosure of campaign expenditures.”
Since AOC herself sat on the board of Justice Democrats from December 2017 to June 2018, she, too, is the subject of these complaints, which remain open and pending as the FEC moves forward with its investigation.
According to campaign finance records, the two PACs funneled more than $1 million in political donations to private companies controlled by Chakrabarti. The companies, reports indicate, had similar names to the PACs, which was part of the ruse, but were not legally subject to the same spending restrictions and disclosure requirements as the actual PACs.
As it turns out, Chakrabarti has been scheming behind the scenes for many years about ways to install more far-left candidates into political office, having raised a cool $3.3 million between 2016 and 2017 specifically for this purpose.
Of this $3.3 million, Chakrabarti moved about $1 million into his two private shell companies, Brand New Campaigns LLC and Brand New Congress LLC, which the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) says not only sidesteps campaign finance reporting requirements, but also violates the $5,000 limit on contributions made from federal PACs to candidates.
“Representative Ocasio-Cortez and Saikat Chakrabarti have engaged in the most blatant scheme we have seen to avoid transparency and accountability concerning campaign finance and financial disclosure laws,” says Tom Anderson, director of NLPC’s Government Integrity Project.
Currently, Chakrabarti is joining up with an environmental activist group known as New Consensus that’s trying to build support for the outlandish Green New Deal policies infamously proposed by AOC as the solution to “global warming” and “climate change.”
